I just want to thank Dr. Noelle Campbell-Sharp and everyone at Cill Rialaig Arts Centre for everything they have done for me. I really have no words to express my gratitude. There have been a few events in my life that stand out for me, and now there is one more. Yesterday was one of the most positive experiences I have had in this life.
I heard so many kind words, spoke to many lovely people, and experienced a positivity and atmosphere of joy that is all too rare in life. And, I have you to thank for this. I am still absorbing it all, and think it will be another couple of days before it all really hits me.
Your belief in my ability to put the body of work together, and be worthy of exhibition, was and is quite staggering – I’m still a little shocked by it. Thank you, so much – you have no idea what this means to me and how this makes me feel.
The exhibition runs to mid September, so if you happen to be around there, why not pop in to the Arts Centre, see some of the beautiful works on display.
Finally, thank you to all the wonderful people who turned out and showed support – it was really very much appreciated.
